Maintenance Technician

Description:

Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying and repairing problems in assembly equipment.

 Must possess and can satisfactorily demonstrate in-depth electrical, mechanical, and fluid power, blueprint reading and comprehension skills

Must be able to install advanced electric wiring and be able to understand PLC Ladder and I/O diagrams

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of (3) three years industrial experience and/or in a manufacturing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Performs installation and repair of machinery and equipment
  2. Generates preventive maintenance schedules and perform P.M
    for all equipment
  3. Performs building maintenance, and installation of electrical, plumbing, etc
  4. Operates machines and do welding as required to make parts for repairs and installations
  5. Inspects, maintains and documents all hazardous materials on premises
Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Tech in a manufacturing company
  • Basic Power Wiring Principles
  • Factory Wiring, Conduit, 3 Phase
  • Basic Motor Controls/Contractor/Overloads
  • Advanced Motor Controls, Servo/VFD Drives
  • Electrical Diagram Reading
  • Relay Circuit Troubleshooting/Wiring
  • PLC Wiring
  • Machine PLC Troubleshooting
  • Basic PLC Programming
  • Robots/Troubleshooting
  • Resistance Welding Control
  • Basic Computer Skills (Windows, Operating System, File Control, etc.)
  • Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Troubleshooting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • College/Technical College/Degree/Skills
