Position Summary
The person in this position performs required electrical and software tests and troubleshoots and repairs equipment to ensure designed specifications and custom requirements are met.
Essential Job Functions:Reads test schedules, work orders, test manuals, and performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration.Tests and exercises completed assemblies for proper functionality in allotted time, often computer-based troubleshoots and repairs games as requiredRecords test results and notes assembly deficienciesTags and tallies all defective materialPerforms additional test of rejected electrical componentsGenerates daily test logs and reports as requiredResponsible for all issue test currency and toolsConfers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problemsMay devise test equipment setup to evaluation performance and operation of nonstandard or defective units.Performs advanced computer-based testing on various items such as progressives, UIBs, and various communication protocols/systems.Assists Level I and Level II testers in resolving game configuration issues.Transforms individual components into electro-mechanical and optical assemblies using necessary tools and equipment.Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all Electronic Gaming Machine.Qualifications

Experience:
One year of technical trainingTwo to five years technical experienceExperience with lean manufacturing techniques requestedExperience in Oracle, Mapics , WM, Agile PLMEducation:
•High School Graduate or equivalent
Technical certification preferredKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to properly read work orders.Computer skills, including use of DOS, Windows 3.1, and 95/98/NTAbility to perform mechanical, functional, electrical, and software testsAbility to stand for extended periodsGood communication skillsKnowledge of game testing/configuration fundamentalsCapable of operating a handheld Digital Multi-Meter for troubleshooting purposesPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 5 to 50 pounds on a regular basisWork Conditions:
The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizationsAbility to stand for extended periods of time.
