Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSANALYSIS) for US Army Chemical Materials Activity, Office of the Deputy Director, Transition Office. Responsibilities Oversees implementation of new system hardware and software and develops operating procedures. Analyze business practices and adapt for automated management. Serves as a technical expert performing feasibility studies. Ensure documentation of phases of network system functions. Minimum Experience: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: analyze business practices and adapt for automated management; oversee configuration and Risk Management Framework requirements of networked and standalone information systems; provide technical advice regarding the design for advanced systems, networks and/or telecommunications software; assess long-range needs regarding system architecture and development; perform feasibility studies. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Information Assurance Information Systems Security Certification Information Technology Architecture Problem Solving Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
