Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Critical Care Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11.5 Hours Rotating (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum Required in Critical Care License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring - ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU) - Experience with ventilated patients - Proficiency with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance - Familiarity with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Knowledge of ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVD - Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC) Job Description: Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Critical Care Unit, where you'll support a 10-bed unit specializing in complex neuro care, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, neuro surgery, and neuro-medical conditions. You'll also float to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit as needed, a diverse 18-bed ICU managing surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients. As a primary stroke center, the role demands expertise in critical care practices and a passion for excellence in patient care.
