Jr. Software Engineer/Developer

Full Time Junior level software engineer/developer with 1-5 years experience in software development to be a developer on a small Agile development team for a new Penta Research prime contract in support of the Department of Defense (DoD). Security: No security clearance required, but must be able to obtain a security clearance. Education: Minimum bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer science, Math, or Physics Basic qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related. 1-5 years of experience Python, C/C++, Java or similar programming experience Experience writing and debugging software applications Experience using git for software configuration management and version control Self-starter, ability to work independently Preferred qualifications: Experience developing simulation frameworks for non-real time or real time execution Basic understanding of continuous integration principles for software development Experience writing unit tests Agile development process experience Experience using Cython to optimize Python code
