Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Travel

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Adult Services Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: - 1-year recent full-time equivalent ICU experience- Graduate of an accredited nursing program- ACLS and BLS certifications Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit.- Utilize specialized nursing knowledge and skills to manage complex and acute health conditions.- Administer medications and perform advanced life support and emergency procedures.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care plans.- Evaluate patient needs and adapt care plans accordingly.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Document patient information and care interventions accurately in electronic health records.- Maintain a high standard of patient safety and infection control protocols.- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, CCRN certification, and dialysis (SLED or equivalent) experience.
