Under direct supervision, provides management information system user support on a continuing basis either by phone or site visit. Troubleshoots end-user problems. MUST BE LOCAL TO METRO ATLANTA AREA Onsite REQUIRED from day 1 The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and services for people with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia's public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services. DBHDD will be asking basic desktop troubleshooting questions during the interview. Looking for a person with experience troubleshooting basic issues with Outlook email. Troubleshooting slowness issues with computers. Troubleshooting connectivity issues with remote workers connecting to the internet or network shared network drives. Job Summary: Support End User Computers for Service Delivery. This position will support two locations 2 Peachtree Street in Atlanta and our location on Panthersville Road in Decatur. One of which is our corporate headquarters and the other is one of our five hospitals. Manage tickets assigned in our SharePoint ticketing system. Create and maintain tickets in Remedy for vendor support. Our current vendors are ATOS, AT&T, Unisys, CapGemeni, and NTT Data. Troubleshoot issues on end user computing devices, including desktops, laptops, and tablets. The majority of these are Dell devices with the exception of some Microsoft Surface Pros. Troubleshoot user access to standardize software- MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, and encryption, etc. Troubleshoot computer peripheral devices: printers, scanners, monitors, keyboard, mice etc. Setup and install computers for new hire onboarding's. Proficient in Win 10 and Office 365. Some basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting connectivity issues. Will involve inventory control for the purpose of tracking of computer devices assigned at the sites. Excellence in customer service and strong communication skills. Must have patience, a logical mind and must be willing to learn continuously. Also the ability to work independently.
