Conexess Group is aiding a local healthcare client in their search for a Business Systems Analyst. This is an immediate need looking for an individual to be hybrid in Greater Nashville. Statement of the Position: A Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing effective business processes and systems to meet organizational objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovative solutions. The role of Business System Analyst is responsible for working collaboratively with stakeholders to research and elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements reflect business needs, correctly representing all stakeholders. Translates business needs into system/ application requirements and project components to help determine solutions to business problems. Assists team members in producing functional requirements and deliverables for tool development. Proactively identifies and manages changes to requirements and identifies risks. The successful candidate will be able to proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to analyze business needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements, business and system requirements document, use cases, functional specification, product, deliverables, requirements traceability, interface mockups, wireframes, test cases, etc. Specific Experience: Focus on Healthcare Rev Cycle Systems (RCM). i.e. Patient registration, Insurance verification, Claims submission, Medical Billing, Collections, Credentialing, etc. Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions: Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehensively understand business processes and gather technical application requirements. Leads and identifies customer business needs and technology readiness. Contributes to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services. Proposes prioritized solutions that align with customers' needs. Articulates the business value of proposed solutions. Identifies customer business needs and technology readiness. Articulates the business value of proposed solutions. Analyze and meticulously document detailed business and application requirements, including any enhancement changes. Act as the "voice of the customer " while collaborating with the development team to create technology solutions. Create and maintain thorough documentation related to business processes, requirements, application processes, and system configurations. Provide regular updates and status reports on project progress, including maintaining logs and status updates. Design and propose effective and scalable solutions to tackle business challenges. Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of proposed solutions. Maintain awareness of existing software standards and procedures, while also evaluating alternative tools to ensure their compatibility and suitability. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated business units and applications within the organization. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement. Recommend and implement solutions to optimize business processes. Analyze and interpret complex datasets to offer actionable insights. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in business systems. Lead the demonstration of new enhancements, system upgrades, and systems development. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of implemented solutions, including collaborating with stakeholders on user acceptance testing (UAT) plans. Monitor deliverables and assist in ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks. Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Willingness to learn other systems that directly and indirectly support F&O. Required Education, Experience & Competencies: Bachelor's degree in financial, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain technology, or equivalent experience. Experience working development teams and work management software (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA) ECBATM, CCBA, and CBAP Certifications is a plus. Expert with Microsoft Dynamics Administration Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with relevant tools and technologies: Experience with methodologies LIST of methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, etc. Minimum 2-3 years of experience soliciting and documenting technical requirements. Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in an IT delivery environment. Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in Healthcare Rev Cycle, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance/Accounting, Operations, Retail or IT. Understand the fundamentals of iterative development and software development processes. Understanding of backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition. Experience building data and processing maps. Location: In office 3-5 days per week in Franklin, Tennessee
