Direct Client - Job Opportunity for Microsoft Azure Architect - IoT Specialist Job Title: Microsoft Azure Architect - IoT Specialist Location: Plano, TX ( Hybrid Work ) [REMOTE WORK also available for Strong Cands ] Job Type: 12 months Long term extendable Contract Job Overview: As a Microsoft Azure Architect specializing in IoT, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient IoT solutions on the Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage Azure services, develop architecture frameworks, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure IoT services (IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Stream Analytics, etc.). Develop and maintain architecture documents and best practices for IoT implementations. Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate IoT data with analytics and machine learning solutions. Ensure the security and compliance of IoT solutions, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Optimize system performance and scalability by leveraging Azure's capabilities. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders. Conduct proof of concepts and demos to showcase IoT solutions and capabilities. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT and Azure technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role with a focus on IoT solutions. Strong knowledge of Azure services related to IoT and cloud computing. Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, HTTP) and device management. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and AI integrations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure IoT Developer). Experience with edge computing and IoT device management. Knowledge of security best practices in IoT architectures
