Software Developer - Telework Potential

Spalding Consulting, Inc.is seeking a Software Developer - Telework Potential in Patuxent River, MD . Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Information Technology (IT), Program Management, and Financial Management for the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Position Type: Full - Time Telework Potential: Must work full-time at Patuxent River for approximately 5-10 days (dependent on experience) before transitioning to 100% telework. Occassional travel (1-2 days per month) to Patuxent River, MD will be required for team and customer meetings. Essential Functions: Work on an Agile team to design, develop, test, and implement web-based applications for DoD business systems Assist with modernizing legacy applications to a cloud environment Modify existing ASP.NET applications including Web Forms, MVC and custom MVVM/MVP architectures Other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications and Experience: Required: 5 years of experience providing web applications development support C# and .NET framework experience Desired: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with CI/CD practices preferred Security Clearance: Ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
