Position Summary: The Salesforce Data Analyst will work to improve data quality and reporting for CHN Housing Partners, with a focus on the Detroit Housing Network. This position will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data, identifying trends and patterns, and producing reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. A comprehensive list of essential duties and responsibilities can be found below. The rate of pay for this position is $58,700 per year, commensurate with experience (paid at a yearly rate; FLSA Exempt). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with program staff and leadership to identify key metrics, track progress, and provide insights to improve program outcomes Assist Data and Evaluation Manager with ongoing reporting and evaluation requirements Develop reports and analytic dashboards to assist with workflow monitoring, production reporting, funder impact reporting, and other reports as needed to use program data to drive efficiency and sound business practices. Support the Salesforce team with a focus on data governance including data integrity, normalization, cleansing and user education. Create and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and data quality guidelines. Maintain and de-duplicate end user data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Work with Salesforce Administrator to develop automations and data validation requirements to ensure clean data for reporting. Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and reporting. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., data science, statistics, computer science, etc.) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a nonprofit or social impact organization Working Knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform Strong background in Data Management and Business Analysis Experience building and using reports, dashboards, and mapping in Salesforce High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently. Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to work within a diverse team on training and collaboration. Excellent communication skills across multiple technical skill levels Ability to multi-task, prioritize several programs and collaborate with other internal and external partners Skills: Strong understanding of database concepts, such as SQL queries Data analytics and visualization Expert written and verbal communication skills Strong grasp of data management and business analysis. Attention to detail to work with data to identify trends for reporting and analytics. Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently, prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Proven ability to handle confidential information. Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience with GIS software Knowledge of the real estate industry and affordable housing preferred Relevant Salesforce Certifications Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
