Responsible for creating and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly Informatics reports, as well as dashboards. Duties include maintaining reporting tools, resolving system issues, identifying process enhancements and insuring system integrity.
AccountabilitiesDesigns and builds automated dashboards and custom reports for the UMG MSO, UMG divisions and other System departments.Creates and builds ad hoc queries per the request of management, the UMG MSO and Prisma Health departments.Collaborates with G.E. programmers and product development specialists, G.E Application Support and Prisma Health I/S to monitor the performance of GE Centricity Informatics.Responsible for security oversight, including the set up of new users.Monitors the daily downloads and scheduled jobs.Tests software changes, including the addition of fields and other customizations. Coordinates the scheduling of upgrades and validates data following system changes.Submits and monitors helpdesk requests sent to G.E.Analyzes, evaluates and recommends system enhancements to the report writer system in order to support business objectives.Demonstrates proficiency in the use of system applications tools including report writers.Assists with monthly web dashboard and custom report validations.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilityThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field5 years of report writing and/or healthcare financial systems experience.Required Certifications/Registrations/LicensesN/AIn Lieu Of The Above Minimum RequirementsAssociate's degree and 7 years report writing and/or healthcare financial systems experience.Other Required Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of crystal report writing or other report writing programs preferredKnowledge of health care revenue cycle processes preferredWork ShiftDay (United States of America)
