Job details: ACLS & NIHSS REQUIRED IN HAND. Vascular Unit (Progressive Care) Some Art Line Management (Preferred)Acuity is blended acuity and ratio is 1: 5 - 6.“Blended acuity” means that it is a mix of med-surg, telemetry, and step-down patients; however, primary level-of-care is telemetry.

Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST)NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained w/in 2 years of start date)Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file)Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center / stroke unitFamiliar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes
