Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

Job Role Summary
The Solutions Analyst IV is responsible for developing complex software solutions to build efficiencies, integrate systems, solve business problems and/or predict and prevent system failures. This position will demonstrate knowledge about Eskenazi Health's policies, procedures and business operations and is certified or proficient in multiple applications. The Solutions Analyst IV will coordinate issue resolution across applications. Persons filling this position will employ formalized development methodology and practices to ensure delivery of the highest quality customized solutions, contributing to the successful accomplishment of the primary mission and continued development of Eskenazi Health. The Solutions Analyst IV will ensure the development of healthy working relationships with operational counterparts. This position supports the management teams' efforts to deliver custom solutions which meet detailed specifications intended to satisfy the documented business needs, as well as understand and support development processes and procedures, which are established to explicitly drive business process
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health's mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County. Models Eskenazi Health values of P.R.I.D.E. (Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Development and Excellence)Acts as a primary contact for an application; engages with customers and coordinates issues that arise across application area(s)Leads team meetingsAssists Product Director with deliverablesFacilitates the problem resolution processDemonstrates understanding of and directs the choices involved in application configurationPerforms in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with EHR software. Develops and documents internal procedures as appropriateDevelops and documents project team procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks.Troubleshoots problems and questions from end users and serves as a resource to IS/IT team membersAssists external EHR staff to better understand Eskenazi Health's operational needs, validates workflows, builds and configures content based on system structureHas astute awareness of unique needs and anticipated changes of end user; performs analysis of EHR content and negotiation of any user requested modifications/alternatives; completes modification/build of content based on operational decisions in collaboration with team and Epic TS/resourcesUtilizes resources as appropriate; strategizes for potential untapped resourcesPopulates databases for which they are the owner documenting decisions and system build.Prepares details of specifications as neededSeeks out educational, teaching, coaching and mentoring opportunitiesJob Requirements
