Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

Job Role Summary

This position is for an Engineer Analyst focused on supporting Windows Server in a MS Active Directory Domain. The successful Windows Engineer Analyst demonstrates passion for technology and developing business solutions in the following ways: strongly adhering to industry standards and continuing education, undergoing detailed configuration and methodology reviews to ensure delivery of the highest quality solutions, and contributing to the successful accomplishment of the primary mission and continued success of Eskenazi Health. This position supports the Senior Engineers' and Lead Senior Engineers' efforts to deliver solutions which meet detailed needs and requirements intended to satisfy documented, and or perceived, business needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health's mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County; models Eskenazi Health valuesServes as a technical resource, and ensures proper operations with regard to network architecture, planning, implementation, maintenance and problem resolution for all data resources within Eskenazi Health; defines, maintains and applies best practices for data resourcesPerforms systems and/or network designs as requested or requiredParticipates in planning, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of all data resourcesPrepares and delivers written and oral training presentations to personnel at all organizational levels as required to explain functionality of data resourcesExamines and monitors all data resources to determine whether the business needs of the institution are being met, and plans or recommends system changes/expansion based on this information; prepares reports on utilization and performance of all systems, networks and data resourcesDevelops systems, networks or data resource upgrade pathwaysCreates and maintains all system, network or data resource documentation; responsible for day-to-day operational activities of all systems, networks and data resourcesServes as primary technical resource and contact for security and access standards for requisite assigned engineering areasMaintains daily logs concerning any variations of systems, networks and data resourcesCommunicates with other Information Services staff and management regarding all technical aspects of data resourcesWorks with peer organizations as technical expert on interoperation of all applicable data resourcesWorks with technical vendor resources to achieve assigned goals regarding all engineering aspects of data resourcesParticipates as member of Tier III in 7x24 after hours on call rotationEnsures planning, timely execution and proper resourcing of all project level work as assigned, including acting in a project manager capacity for small to medium technical projectsJob Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a minimum of five years of varied/related experience in a hospital or large institution data processing environment may be accepted in lieu of educational requirementsRelevant certifications/training, experience for areas of technical responsibility:

Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022)Active Directory and related Windows Server roles (DNS, DHCP, GPM, etc.)Azure/Entra ID and O365Federated SSO, specifically with ADFS and Entra IDCertificate managementProficiency in a scripting language (PowerShell preferred)
