Data Product Owner

Title: Data Product OwnerLocation: Georgetown, KY. Travel required. Duration: 6 month contract to startCompensation: $50 59 per hour Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. The client is in need of a Product Owner to provide product leadership, strategy, roadmap, and business need support. The D&A space has historically been fragmented and inconsistent, resulting in duplicative efforts and no holistic roadmap across multiple teams. There is a need of a Product Owner to lead one of the D&A spaces building out in the manufacturing space of this client. Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for data products that align with the company's strategic goals. Identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication. Foster a collaborative environment to drive the development and adoption of data products2. Product Development: Translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize them based on business impact1. Oversee the development lifecycle of data products, ensuring they are built efficiently and meet user needs. Data Governance: Ensure data products adhere to company-wide governance policies, including data quality, security, and compliance. Maintain clean, secure, and accurate data within the products. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations by keeping them informed about the progress and gathering feedback to refine product requirements. Advocate for the use of data products to drive smarter business decisions. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction.
