Valley Solar is one of the New Englands largest independent solar energy contractors, located in beautiful Western Massachusetts.As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team.This role will play a crucial part in enhancing and customizing our Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementation to streamline our operations and improve customer service.Responsibilities:Collaborate with our teams to gather and understand business requirements for Salesforce Service Cloud and FSL implementation.Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions and enhancements within the Salesforce platform.Customize and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud to meet the specific needs of our solar services business.Implement and maintain integrations with other systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.Develop and maintain Visualforce pages, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components as needed.Provide technical expertise and support to resolve issues and troubleshoot system errors.Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices to ensure the platform is used to its full potential.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on Service Cloud and FSL.Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security features.Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for service-oriented businesses.Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.Experience with Salesforce integrations and REST/SOAP APIs.Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II and Service Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match.Opportunities for professional development and certification reimbursement.A positive and collaborative work environment with a focus on sustainability and innovation.If you are a talented Salesforce Developer and want to contribute to a more sustainable future, we invite you to apply.This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
