Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a dynamic organization. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, ensuring strategic financial planning, risk management, and overall financial health. This is a key leadership position with the opportunity to shape the company's financial future.

Compensation
$180,000-$225,000/year plus performance-based bonuses.


Location
Hartford, CT (on-site with hybrid flexibility).

Key Responsibilities of the CFO:

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the company's growth.
  • Manage accounting, finance, payroll, tax, and audit functions.
  • Present financial reports and strategies to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the finance team in developing best practices for financial efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial leadership, including 5+ years in a CFO or similar executive role.
  • Proven track record in financial management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
