results-driven Director, Digital Product Management

to lead the strategic direction of our IT Sales Velocity product. This position is critical to defining, designing, and scaling the digital platform that revolutionizes how IDC delivers customer data products. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and launching successful data-centric products, a passion for user experience, and the ability to inspire and guide high-performing product teams.

This position can be remote in an approved US location. The east coast time zone, or central-time zone is preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and champion the product vision for IDC Velocity, aligned with IDC's overall business objectives and customer needs.

Develop new products, and maintain strategic roadmaps, balancing customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Prioritize features and initiatives based on data-driven insights and market trends.

Dive deep and partner effectively with engineering teams to ensure the product is built on a scalable, secure, and high-performance technology stack.

Collaborate with UX teams to ensure the Velocity product delivers world-class user experience, incorporating customer feedback and industry best practices.

Lead and mentor a small team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Use data and analytics to monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive data-informed decisions.

Understand the market landscape and determine the Ideal Customer Profile.

Partner closely with the business lead and cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, etc.) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Partner with the Product Leads of individual data products delivered through the platform and understand the data of each of the data products and the use cases in which each data product is applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) plus.

10-15+ years of product management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

Previous management experience as a Team Leader or Player/Coach.

2+ years previous experience in products targeted toward market intelligence or sales organizations is highly preferred.

2+ years of focus on data-centric products is preferred.

Proven success in defining, launching, and scaling digital products.

Previous experience with global product rollouts.

Experience leading and mentoring high-performing product teams.

Deep understanding of user experience principles and best practices.

Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and motivate the organization to drive results quickly.

Outstanding strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Ability to understand new markets quickly and learn about new domains.

Ability to prioritize multiple roadmaps with resource constraints.

Prior experience working with a remote development team is highly desirable.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $195,000 and $225,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
