Senior Accountant - Lease

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Accountant to join their customer's Financial Shared Services team. This person should have at least 3-5 years of strong accounting background with a focus in lease related reporting. The right person will have ideally utilized ASC842 standards in their financial reports and be comfortable doing so moving forward. This candidate should have multiple years of technical accounting experience and have spent time in either or both public accounting or Fortune 500 company. They will be responsible for managing the month end close process with hundreds of thousands of lease records, modifications, and entries and be an escalation point for their staff accountants.

Required Skills & Experience-3-5 years of accounting experience- Specific hands on experience with reconciliations, month end close processing, and ideally hands on technical project accountant experience- Large company experience (big 4, second tier accounting firm, company $5B+ in revenue)- BS in Accounting- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.- understanding and ability to balance renewals, expirations, and modifications for an enterprise level environment ($100mm lease liability at a minimum)-experience managing month end close with lease reporting and internal schedules
Nice to Have Skills & Experience-ASC842 in most recent role-- strong understanding of lease vs non lease components
