**Job Description:**
- Open to first-time travelers- Must work Thanksgiving and/or Christmas- Must work two out of three major holidays- Ability to float within the pediatric emergency department as needed, with potential on-call requirement- Must have experience with various emergency department procedures, including but not limited to:- Trauma evaluations- Conscious sedation- Laceration repairs, Incision & Drainage (I&D), orthopedic procedures, lumbar punctures (LP), and other emergency department procedures- Use of ultrasound and fiberoptic lights for Peripheral Intravenous Lines (PIVs)- Point of Care (POC) testing- Use of rapid infusers, fluid warmers, and Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitors- Compliance with pre-start modules (non-billable, average 6-12 hours to complete)- Mandatory flu vaccine, with medical/religious exemptions considered- No COVID-19 vaccine required

- 12 hours of orientation provided (non-billable)- Travelers' university must be accredited by an appropriate body at the time of graduation- Completion of online learning modules is required before the start date- Background checks and two supervisor references are required- Local residents may have different eligibility rules for certain positions
