This resource will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organizations network and system infrastructure. This role ensures the secure and reliable operation of all network and server systems, supporting the organization’s business operations. In addition to network administration, the role includes proactive server management and the implementation of monitoring systems to ensure maximum uptime.The Network Administrator will participate in technical research, development, and innovation to support continuous improvements and ensure the availability of critical infrastructure. Essential Functions:Manage, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.Administer and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.Implement and monitor system uptime and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues and ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems.Perform routine network and server maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and performance tuning.Ensure proactive monitoring and alerting for all network and server resources to minimize downtime and ensure rapid response to potential issues.Manage network security, including VPN, firewall, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring systems are backed up and recoverable in case of failure.Document and maintain network and server configurations, including IP address management, topology, and software versions.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and system-related issues.
