Associate Attorney - Collection and Bankruptcy Litigation

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

Established and well regarded creditor's rights firm specializing in commercial and consumer collection litigation, as well as bankruptcy litigation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collection and bankruptcy law. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about legal affairs and is looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Representing clients in court proceedings regarding collection and bankruptcy.
• Preparing and drafting various legal documents such as briefs, motions, appeals, agreements, and contracts.
• Conducting extensive legal research to support client cases.
• Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in favor of clients.
• Collaborating with our legal team to develop effective strategies for managing cases.
• Staying updated on current laws and regulations within the collection and bankruptcy field to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as an attorney.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the Pennsylvania or New Jersey. (Bonus points for both!)
• Experience or interest in collection and bankruptcy litigation.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
