Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Representing clients in all stages of business and construction litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeal.
- Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Advising clients on business and legal transactions, assessing legal risks, and suggesting preventive measures.
- Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in favor of our clients.
- Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to develop legal strategies and solutions.
- Providing regular updates to clients and maintaining a high level of client service.
- Participating in business development activities, including networking and relationship-building with potential clients.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and changes in laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, ideally in construction and/or business litigation.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the Georgia State Bar.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- High level of professionalism and adherence to legal ethical standards.
