We are seeking a dynamic and astute Audit Manager to join our vibrant Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position that will provide you with an opportunity to lead a team of auditors and contribute to our company's financial stability. Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager, your duties will include:
- Planning, executing, and managing audits in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Supervising and leading a team of auditors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Preparing and presenting detailed audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk and devising effective mitigation strategies.
- Managing relationships with clients, providing excellent service, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Providing guidance and training to junior members of the audit team.
- Collaborating with other departments to enhance financial procedures, controls, and systems.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (preferred).
- Proven experience in audit and attestation, with a strong understanding of auditing principles and techniques.
- Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a knack for motivating and developing staff.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software and databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
