We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Audit Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients across multiple industries, providing valuable audit and attestation support. You will be an integral part of our team, utilizing your skills in GAAS and GAAP to ensure our financial operations are running smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for an individual who has a solid foundation in public accounting and is looking to further their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Audit Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  1. Conducting audits in accordance with GAAS and GAAP principles.
  2. Preparing financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  3. Providing audit and attestation support to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Assisting in the development and implementation of audit plans.
  5. Collaborating with team members on audit processes and projects.
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations for change.
  7. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Staff Accountant role will have the following qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and attestation support.
  3. Proficient knowledge of GAAS and GAAP principles.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. A team player with a great attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
