Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to manage large-scale commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial ground-up construction management, with a preference for those who have experience in the solar or renewable energy sectors.

Must be currently located in DC metro area and/or open to relocation.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Develop and direct project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team, ensuring that all project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
5. Manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
6. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Effectively communicate project updates and progress to all stakeholders, including senior management.
8. Handle any project changes or issues that arise, implementing effective solutions.
9. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards and regulations.
10. Promote sustainable practices and incorporate renewable energy solutions where applicable.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
4. Experience working on commercial construction projects is a must.
5. Experience in solar or renewable energy projects is highly preferred. NABCEP preferred.
6. Exceptional leadership skills.
7. First aid and OHSA 30 preferred but not required.
