Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This position is a key role within our organization and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, with a particular focus on food safety and quality control. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facility's maintenance, including equipment, inventory, and vendor management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of maintenance in our industrial manufacturing facility, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Implement and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and SQF.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment purchases, repairs, and maintenance services.
• Develop and implement training programs for maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Conduct performance evaluations of maintenance staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to maintenance activities, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Lead and manage maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP and SQF.
• Proven experience in inventory and vendor management.
• Excellent team management and supervisory skills, with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven experience in conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in training and development of staff.
• Proficiency in document control and quality control processes.
