We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Business Development Manager to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our company's profit margin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-energy environment where your contribution will directly impact the success and growth of our company. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the sales industry with a focus on Office Design.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization, and generate leads for possible sales.
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Work towards company-wide business development goals and objectives.
  • Create and implement sales strategies and identify new markets to enter.
  • Develop detailed territory plans to track progress and measure success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide management with sales forecasts and reports on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the sales industry with a focus on Office Design.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to foster relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to improve sales strategies and approaches.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed and a passion for sales.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technological advancements is a plus.
