Salary: $25 - $35 per hour

My client is a leading manufacturing company and is in the market to add a Maintenance Mechanic to their team.

Compensation Up To $35/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
2. Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
4. Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
5. Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
6. Assisting in the setup of machinery and equipment.
7. Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery found in kitchens, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, and factories.
8. Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and without injury.
9. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including machinery maintenance and repair.
3. Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
5. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
