Job DetailsMy client is growing and looking for a Cloud Data & Analytics Architect primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, who enjoys speaking with the business and stakeholders to deliver high level solutions.
As a Cloud Data & Analytics Architect, you will have the opportunity to:
Interact with customers, company sponsors and delivery teams (including partners) focused on solving mission-critical business and technology problems and provide solutions that center on the Microsoft Azure Platform
Execute technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations, and proposal development for data & analytics solutions
Develop functional and technical designs for the targeted solutions in Azure
Develop a migration approach to move workloads from on-premises to Azure or develop new cloud-ready solutions
Lead and mentor medium to large sized teams in the migration workloads or implementations of cloud data & analytics solutions in large enterprise environments
Document and share technical best practices and insights with the Customer and company community, contributing to the organization's repository of intellectual property
Strategize, plan, and execute business development related to data & analytics opportunities
Engage with internal technology leaders and solutions experts to deliver cutting edge solutions to clients.
Expand organization portfolio of solutions and professional services in the local geography.
Maintain and grow client relationships.
Induce solutions and ideas to help clients improve their business performance.
Work in an entrepreneurial environment with a high level of senior management access.
The ideal candidate will have:
Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and ability to architect, design and implement data & analytics solutions on Azure
Cloud data warehouses (Azure Synapse, Snowflake) experience
Cloud data lakes (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob Storage, Snowflake) experience
Cloud data integration/processing (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark) experience
Understanding of data science tools, solutions, model lifecycles, etc. to support the operationalization of machine learning and analytics models
Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Oversight experience on transformational projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams
Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts
Full lifecycle experience implementing data & analytics solutions with a working knowledge of agile development, SCRUM, and DevOps.
Project experience in migrating On-Premise workloads to the cloud and/or implementing cloud-ready applications
Experience with On-Premise to Azure Cloud Migrations, including familiarity with Data Replication technologies
Experience in full data pipeline technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Azure Blob Storage, Synapse and other related tools
Azure DevOps tools and best practices for environment management
Hybrid data architectures, including on-premise, cloud and related components including data lakes, data warehouse & analytic workspaces
Virtualization, Networking, Storage, Security configuration and management in the cloud
Proven track record of building trusted technical and business relationships with senior executives and driving growth in highly strategic or key accounts
Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources
Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer-facing situations
Exceptional verbal and written communication
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Minimum education qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field
