We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of family law experience, including divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Representing clients in all aspects of family law litigation, including divorce, child custody, and equitable distribution cases.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Conducting and defending depositions, attending court hearings, and arguing motions.
- Advising clients on their legal rights and options, explaining legal processes, and providing sound legal advice.
- Collaborating with our legal team to develop case strategies, prepare for trials, and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in family law and contributing to the firm's knowledge base.
- Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Pennsylvania and in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, and equitable distribution.
- Proven track record of representing clients in family law cases and achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle a high caseload and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and work effectively with a team.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using legal software and technology.
