Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position plays a key role in maintaining and controlling the business’s financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Conduct regular ledger processes, reconciling balance sheets and managing budget processes.
3. Perform monthly variance analysis and provide detailed reports to management.
4. Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets.
5. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
7. Liaise with external auditors and manage internal audits.
8. Analyze financial trends and forecast business needs.
9. Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
10. Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
11. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in financial analysis and financial reporting.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
7. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
8. Strong organizational and communication skills.
9. Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
10. High integrity with an unwavering commitment to ethical behavior.
11. Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or similar is considered a plus.
