Certification Details -ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Certification -Other Various Certifications as listed in additional ProMedica Health System requirements or Documentations Job Details -Position / Specialty: PCU – Gen 8 Acute (Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels) -Start date: Every Other week on Tuesdays -Ratios: 1:4 all shifts -Years of experience REQ: 1 year -First-timers accepted: No -Weekend REQ: Yes- every other -Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics -Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, MS, Seizures, Myasthenia gravis, Other neurological issues, Craniotomies, Brain masses -Special Procedures/Unit Details: LP's - Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg -Work Setting: Telemetry and High flow Required -Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias -IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management -Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA and Pre/Post neurosurgery -Respiratory/Thoracic: Nasal Cannula and Non-invasive airway management -Computerized Charting: EPIC, Required -Teaching Hospital Experience required Job Requirements -Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH -Specific certifications details are housed in the NOVA hospital profile in the Unit Job Descriptions. Schedule Information -Guaranteed Hours: 36 hour with the possibility of picking up an extra shift each week if available -Open to accommodating block schedule? No -Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Floating within service line, floating between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, & Wildwood facilities as needed. -Float Units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation -Schedules are subject to change based on staffing needs; two-week notice will be given by the facility for a change in schedule.
