Valuation and Financial Analyst

Perform detailed valuation analyses by developing financial models which utilize various valuation methodologies, including, but not limited to: discounted cash flow analyses, guideline public company analyses, comparable company transaction analyses, and option pricing model analyses.Prepare formal valuation reports and interact with clients and their attorneys and auditors to explain, support, and defend the valuation opinions and the assumptions and methodologies used to support the conclusions.Assist in active merger & acquisition transaction execution including, but not limited to: financial analysis, model creation, drafting memoranda, due diligence, attending client meetings and drafting sessions, creating data rooms, and any other support services required to assist in closing an engagement.Prepare newsletters and other research reports which summarize market updates in specific industry verticals.Research and update proprietary valuation and M&A databases.RequirementsFull proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially, PowerPoint, Excel and Word).Excellent analytical, problem solving, summarizing, and synthesizing skillsEffective and clear communication skills (written and verbal) with team members and clientsAbility to work both independently and in a team settingCapable of prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting fluctuating deadlinesSelf-motivated and proactive.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffFlexible Spending Account401(k)Flexible Work EnvironmentDesired Experience:1-3 years experience in valuation, audit, or related field preferredBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics required
