**Job Description:**
- Will position float between units: Yes- Is on-call required: Yes, may be placed on call- Are weekends required: Yes, a minimum of every other weekend is required- Are block schedules required: No- Expected patient-to-nurse ratios: 1:4 or 1:5- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate- Extensive references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required- Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state- Completion of non-billable modules pre-start, estimated 16 hours- Orientation includes 40 hours of training

This position involves working during major holidays, with a commitment to work 3 out of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). Time off requests are limited, with up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved.
