Fortinet is recruiting for skilled IT professionals to join our HQ RD Infrastructure team based out of Sunnyvale, CA. Our team is responsible for the management of all US based colocation sites servicing on premise cloud.
This position would represent a great fit for IT professionals with a combination of virtualization, server, storage, network, and Openstack experience.Your responsibilities in this position will include the following:Individual contributor role in the operation, maintenance, and deployment of multiple private cloud platforms installed in US site colocation facilities.System administration, deployment, and maintenance of VIO (VMware Integrated Openstack)VMware VSphere/VCenter Administrationworking knowledge in VMware NSXT administrationNetwork Administration (physical and virtual Switch/Router/Firewall)Troubleshooting and resolving technical problemsOrdering equipment, managing physical infrastructure, and asset trackingRack/stack servers and troubleshoot hardware with vendor escalationsWork with 3rd party vendors (Colocation provider, ISPs, and Smarthands)Provide on call support as requiredJob Requirements:5+ years of experience in production platform operations5+ years of experience in production infrastructure operationsProficient in Enterprise VMware server virtualizationProficient in VMware NSX or NSXTBasic knowledge in Openstack administrationBasic knowledge in Linux server administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Basic knowledge in network administration and industry standard protocolsSome experience in network, server and system monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios, etc.)Some experience in at least one scripting language (Powershell, Powercli, Python, Bash, etc.)Excellent ability to organize, multitask, work individually and in a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred:Certification in RHCECertification in OpenstackCertification in VMware VCAP, NSXEducational Requirement:A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldMaster s Degree preferredThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$170,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level.
