Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab Job Specialty: Rehab/Neuro Job Duration: 13-18 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Trach Care and G-Tube skills Job Description: - Provide comprehensive trach care and manage G-tube procedures.- Deliver compassionate care and effectively communicate with patients and families, aiming to educate and support them.- Strong self-learning ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.- Potential to float to other units as needed.- Responsible for managing a patient load with a night shift ratio of 1:8.- Proficient in using equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, ventilators, suction devices, and negative pressure wound therapy.- Document patient information accurately using EMR systems (Cerner and ITW).- Maintain a professional appearance in galaxy blue scrubs, avoiding hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or non-uniform attire.- Demonstrate willingness to work two out of three major holidays, with manager approval required for holiday scheduling.- Comply with mandatory flu vaccination policy. Note: Candidates should be prepared to make up any approved time off at the end of the assignment.
