Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Rehabilitation/Neuro Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with Trach Care and G-Tube Job Description: - All candidates must be flu vaccinated.- The position involves working on a unit specializing in traumatic brain injury and stroke care.- Patient care includes managing a variety of equipment such as tube feeds, ventilators, tracheostomy care, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, and negative pressure wound therapy.- Must be familiar with electronic medical records systems, specifically Cerner and ITW.- The unit consists of 28 beds with a patient ratio of 1:8 during the night shift.- Expected to float to other units within the facility as necessary.- Ideal candidates will be compassionate, effective communicators, and willing to educate both patients and their families.- A self-learner with a preference for Med Surg experience is advantageous.- Adherence to the dress code is required, with scrubs in Galaxy Blue. Hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and any attire outside the uniform are not permitted.Candidates should be prepared to work every third weekend, with weekend hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. There are no call requirements for this role.
