Job Summary

The Director of Partnership Sales works closely with the departments, Sr. Director and entire AEG Global Partnerships structure/resources to generate and close sponsorship sales for the LA Galaxy & Dignity Health Sports Park in addition to other AEG properties. This position is responsible for seeing a sponsorship sale through completion which includes developing pitches, negotiating deal points, addressing client concerns, and finding creative solutions to partner assigned properties with brands. The Director of Sponsorship Sales will effectively set sales goals and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual goals are met by employing various sales techniques, creating and maintaining new business relationships.

Essential Functions

Lead all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, customer assessment, analysis, strategies, best practices, ROI modeling, key industry research rollout, focus group information synthesis, competitive intelligence, marketing/sales proposals, and alignment to existing solutionsLead in the development of client proposal, sales and contract negotiations through to the close of new or renewed businessBuild prospective client list of qualified accounts within the team's assignmentsIdentify and cultivates brands/marketing executives within targeted accounts who make event marketing and media decisions.Create and develops presentations for clients and potential clients. This includes developing creative concepts for pitches, utilizing various resources for execution.Execute effective corporate sales calls and presentations promoting our unique sales and marketing platforms in order to meet established sales objectivesPresent business updates, new opportunities and industry-driven initiatives to the management team and sales leaders as requiredShare revenue/profit building ideas and opportunities with other corporate teams and sales leaders and sale teams as requiredCreate sales plans which are scalable for local, regional and national programsSupport the development of complex-targeting sponsorship plans to address clients' strategic objectives and meet the Company's needsHost prospective clients during all LA Galaxy home games and other AEG events as neededRequired Qualifications

BA/BS Degree (4-year)6-8 years Related sales experienceExperience working with venue based sponsorshipsExperience in sponsorship sales in a global role is a plusProven track record in building successful partnerships as well as consistently securing investments with FORTUNE 500 organizationsMust have a high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contactsStrong entrepreneurial spirit and creativityDeep understanding of the advertising industryExemplary problem solving, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple AEG business units to accomplish the goals of the companyExpertise in identifying opportunities and developing strategies and negotiating creative solutionsProficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systemFamiliarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform preferredPayscale: $140-$150K
