Overview
The Assistant Controller oversees financial operations, partnering closely with the Director of Finance and COO. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, accounts payable, monthly reporting, budgeting, and the year-end audit. The role also involves supervising the outsourced accounting team and supporting the development of annual budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly reconciliations and reports
• Annual budgeting and audit preparation
• Supervising outsourced accounting team
• Grant and revenue accounting with Development Director
• Special projects and ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA/MBA preferred)
• 5+ years in accounting and budgeting
• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Google Sheets
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
