What you will be doing:
Work with Business Analysts and Developers (onsite and offshore) to support and improve the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications. You will be required to learn our business processes and procedures, participate in meetings with business partners globally, design meetings, and technical meetings, perform proof of concept as and when needed, and get fully involved in all aspects of delivering solutions to the business. The Sr. Oracle Developer will test various applications, conduct System Isolve issues troubleshoot issues and work with the team to deploy the technical components in production.
Use current Helen of Troy change control standards and SDLC to successfully implement solutions.Complete development tasks assigned while adhering to Helen of Troy development standards.Solution fast, efficient, and self recover integrations with Oracle EBS.Extensions and customizations delivered must meet user requirements and enable business to succeed in solving issue/requirements as requested.Effective communication written and oral with functional business analysts to develop a solution that will meet the user requirements and specifications.Great teammate that maintains focus on specific request task.Analyzes facts to determine action based on standard practice and procedures.Solve sophisticated problems by performing troubleshooting.Implement fixes based on root cause analysis.Attend meetings as requested by project managers and functional business analysts.Timely completion of project plan tasks assigned.Design, build, develop, modify, and implement technical solutions.Develop specifications for several large, inter-related projects and implement them and provide oversight of their implementation.Interact directly with users to resolve application issues.Provide technical expertise within the team and to outside project teams when requested.Communicate and describe work details and relevant technical matters, in written and oral form.Contribute to and lead projects of moderate scope or phases of larger projects and interact with other project team members, as assigned.Be responsible for operational and/or maintenance activities for one or more specific projects as assigned.Manage all duties as assigned and in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.Contribute effectively within a diverse workforce and uphold Helen of Troy's dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion.Take ownership and resolve tickets within SLA timelines.Skills needed to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science5+ Years of experience in implementing, upgrading, and supporting in OM, WMS, INV, PO, ASCP, GL, AP, AR, FA modules in Oracle Applications R12.1.3 or higher.5+ years of experience relational DB's using SQL/PLSQL skills.Oracle Application EBS R12, SQL, PL/SQL, XML/BI, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Alerts.Proficient hands on programming / scripting skills - SQL,PL/SQL,OAF, Shell Scripting.Very familiar with XML, XSLT, and JSON data formats.Experience with analysis, setup, configuration, conversion, testing, migration, and documentation.Experience in understanding various upstream and downstream systems.Experience in integrating third-party applications with Oracle E-Business Suite.Ability to write sophisticated SQL for data mining, reporting, analysis, and other purposes.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills.Experience in following Waterfall and Agile Methodology.Preferred Qualifications:
