With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Global Infrastructure Data Center Services team is responsible for supporting over 2,000 servers and petabytes of storage globally, including the support of over 35 sites and 4 datacenters. Our team is also responsible for all data protection and disaster recovery technologies along around the world. We are searching for an intern, ideally pursuing a degree in Information Technology, to support the Infrastructure Data Center Services team. The successful candidate will understand infrastructure technology and work with IT infrastructure teams in coordinating the analysis of competing technologies to determine the best solution for infrastructure services This internship will run from May 2025 - August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Ave Maria, FL facility. Main Objective: Gain a working knowledge of computing, storing, data protection and basic monitoring techniques. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of new patching systems. Support Arthrex IT sites and private cloud. Research potential solutions with vendors to help the team with goals and projects. Analyze infrastructure operations activity and recommend and/or generate reporting dashboards on critical metrics. Provide analytical support and coordination on IT infrastructure-related tasks and projects. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or recent graduate required. Sophomore or above studying Information Technology preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.) Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. Interest in Operating Systems (scripting, IT concepts, cloud technologies) a plus. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel.
