Main Objective:
Salesforce is a comprehensive cloud-based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform that helps businesses manage their customer interactions, streamline processes, and improve profitability. It integrates various functions such as sales, customer service, marketing, and analytics into a single platform, allowing for seamless data sharing and collaboration across teams. With built-in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, Salesforce provides predictive insights, automates routine tasks, and personalizes customer experiences.
As a Salesforce Administrator I you will be part of a team that provides support in the following areas:User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and roles to ensure everyone has appropriate access to Salesforce features.Data Management: Maintaining data quality by importing, exporting, and updating records, as well as creating reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.System Customization: Customizing the Salesforce platform to meet business needs by creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and automations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn to support multiple Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CRM Analytics.Address and resolve user support tickets.Create and update technical and best practices documentation.Assist with Salesforce configuration changes.Assist with sandbox environment management and DevOps/release management.Identify unused or underutilized platform features.Prepare and perform data uploads/exports.Assist with multiple aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules.Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and best practices, proactively seeking opportunities to expand your Salesforce skills and certifications.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent requiredSpecialized Skills
Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.Advanced EXCEL skills.Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Knowledge of software development lifecycle, familiarity with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.Strong sense of customer focus, both internal and externalOccasional Travel as required.
