Risk and Strategy Specialist.
The role is within the Corporate Services directorate in our Governance Services team, and is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.We’re looking for a passionate enterprise risk specialist, with demonstrated skills and knowledge in corporate strategic planning to complement their subject matter skill set. The successful candidate will be a confident and impactful facilitator with demonstrated ability as a people leader and influencer of change.The key responsibilities of this role:Risk Management
– leading the operational implementation of the City’s updated Risk Management Framework. Embedding a ‘whole of organisation’ culture of risk-based decision making. Providing training, change management and support to build and embed risk management capabilities across the organisation. Oversee efficient and effective delivery of the Strategic Internal Audit Program. Coach and support Managers to establish the relationship between operational risks and delivery of branch plans.Strategic Planning
– leading the operational implementation of the City’s updated Strategic Planning Framework. Support facilitation of business planning across the organisation to ensure effective delivery of the Council Plan priorities and strategic projects. Track and maintain Council Plan supporting documentation, including sub-plans, strategies and frameworks.
