The Sales Director is responsible for securing revenue generating partnerships with fuel and convenience retailers. This person will identify prospects, do their own lead generation, proposals, negotiate terms and secure agreements with retailers. The successful candidate will coordinate with P97 product and customer success teams to effectively lead sales efforts.Role Responsibilities
Identify prospects in the fuel and convenience industry within regionSell P97’s suite of products and servicesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify business opportunities.Develop detailed proposals in coordination with finance and product teamsCoordinate, own, and execute the sales strategy to source initial and repeat business.Develop marketing tools in coordination with marketing resourcesTravel approximately 20%-30% which can vary month-to-month based on business needs.Requirements
Basic Qualifications
8+ years sales experience, preferably in the Petro / Convenience Store ecosystemBachelor's degree in marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Business Management, or equivalent work experienceExcellent presentation skills including the ability to craft professional slide decks, commercial propositions, and deliver compelling presentations to a c-level audience in both virtual and in-person settings.Outstanding oral and written communication skills, meeting prep, and client follow-upExecutive presence, confidence, and leadership skills that foster credibility and trust.Extensive business relationships and a proven track record of sales successDeep understanding of the fuel and convenience store industrySelf-driven, having the ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision.Consistently positive attitude, desire for teamwork, and willingness to engage in tasks outside of the role’s core responsibilities to meet corporate needs in an agile startup environment.Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce.comThis job description provides many examples of the types of responsibilities required but is not intended to be a comprehensive list.
