Position Summary:

The Front Load Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck and performing assigned duties on specified routes. This position is also responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies.

Your Role:Operates vehicle by Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safe Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws.Driving safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time.Performs pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and document checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as the Company requires.Notifies the Route manager or Dispatch of any incidents, accidents injuries, or property damage as well as service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways, or potential safety hazards.Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement.Ensures the number of containers on the route reconciles to the service level listed on the service list.Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and debris-free.Completes and submits customer tickets as required when excessive yardage must be removed.Positions and returns containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, enclosure doors are closed and secured, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.Follow route assignments as directed and complete end-of-day documentation and check-out process.Performs all duties scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.Your Skills:

1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.Commercial Driver's License A/B (CDL) with an air brake endorsement.Must be 21 years of age.Acceptable driving record.Legally eligible to work in the United States.Complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which includes a previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.The environment is fast-paced, and the person in this role must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent critical thinker.This Position Features:
