Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for inspection of products, components and gauges used in the evaluation of products. Identify and appropriately document nonconformance of the items being inspected and assist in identifying the root cause to eliminate the nonconformance.

Responsibilities:Train employees in use of measuring equipment, measurement methods, and reading prints.Inspect components for compliance to print requirements.Verification of mechanical dimensions, aesthetic characteristics, serial numbers, etc.Excellent observation and problem solving skillsPerform detailed first article and layout inspections on purchased or manufactured productsInspect and calibrate gages used in evaluation of productsSet up and develop measurement and layout plans (Keyence, CMM, Faro arm etc) to inspect machined components and AssembliesUse JDE & SAP to perform QA transactionsAssist with FPY data entry, and Customer complaint investigationsQualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates Degree in technical field preferredThree (3) years of related experience in a quality technician role OR five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing production role (machining or assembly)Fluent in English (read, write, speak)Knowledge of machining and assembly of mechanical and electrical productsProficient in the use of inspection and metrology equipmentAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsExperience developing and implementing inspection and test plansEffectively use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferredISO Auditor experience preferred, ASQ Certifications preferredExcellent problem at solvingMobility & Travel Requirements

Pay Range:

$45,314.00-$52,432.00
