The Airtable IT team is looking for a seasoned Site Engineering Manager to lead our Service Desk, Networking Engineering, A/V, and laptop management teams.What you'll do

As the

IT Site Engineering Manager , you will be responsible for managing the Service Desk, Network Engineering, and Site IT Operations, ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure. This includes overseeing the management of laptops, conference room technologies, vendor partnerships, and SaaS applications. You will lead a team of IT professionals and will be expected to:Lead & Manage the Service Desk:

Ensure that IT support requests are resolved efficiently, providing world-class service to employees.Oversee Network Engineering & Infrastructure:

Maintain the health of the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security across all sites.Laptop & Asset Management:

Manage the hardware inventory for A/V and laptops, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning. Work closely with Client Platform Engineering to update and manage the fleet.Vendor & SaaS Management:

Oversee relationships with key vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage a diverse portfolio of SaaS applications to meet business needs.Conference Room & AV Technology:

Maintain and optimize the use of conference room technologies to support seamless meetings and events.Collaborate & Implement Process Improvements:

Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve IT operations and ensure alignment with business objectives.Who you are

You are an experienced IT professional with a proven ability to manage technical operations across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate for this role:Has 5+ years of IT management experience : You have led IT teams, including service desk operations and network engineering, and understand how to balance hands-on work with strategic leadership.Technical Expertise : You have hands-on experience managing network infrastructure, laptop/device management tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune), SaaS integrations, and AV systems like Zoom or Microsoft Teams Rooms.Strong Leadership & Communication Skills : You can lead a diverse team of IT professionals, communicate technical solutions clearly, and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Vendor & Project Management:

You are skilled at managing relationships with external vendors and are experienced in handling IT project delivery, from planning to execution.Problem Solver:
