**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Float Pool

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend, Must Work Christmas
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS
**Must-Have:** At least 1 year in an ICU setting; experience managing titratable drips like Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin
**Job Description:**
- Work within a float pool covering ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU across two campuses.- Care for geriatric and orthopedic patients, as well as post-procedural patients from the cath lab.- Manage and care for post-MI, post-Cardiac Cath, and CABG patients (post-op day 3-4).- Titrate various drips as required.- No assignment for the charge nurse; nurse aides utilized in all settings.- Use CPAP, BiPAP, and Heated High Flow equipment.- Read and interpret unit monitors and strips with monitor tech support in PCU and MedSurg Tele.- Flexible scheduling with shifts from 7-7 for AM and PM, allowing for potential block scheduling.- Weekend and holiday rotations align with permanent staff.- Possibly placed on standby when overstaffed, with the chance of being called in within a 12-hour window.- Assignments communicated via text message approximately two hours before shift start.- Dress code requires wearing solid color professional scrubs, transitioning to navy scrubs.
